MOUNTAINEERING

Mount San Francisco – 4345m – moderately difficult with some easy rock climbing

San Jose Volcano – 5856m – technically easy with no climbing but multiple nights at altitude.

Marmolejo
– 6108m – the most southern 6000er in the world. Not technical but several nights at altitude.

NOTE: For all of these peaks, the refugio can organize transport to the trail head and/or mules. Both Marmolejo & San Jose are commonly used as preparation for Aconcagua.
We are also in touch with guides if you need one.
